Terms of Service

Last updated: July 24, 2026

The service

TradePal Africa provides bookkeeping, stock-tracking, and payment-collection tools for small shops, delivered entirely through WhatsApp chat. TradePal is an early-stage product and features may change, be added, or be removed as we improve the service.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about your business (name, location, transactions).
  • Use TradePal in compliance with the laws that apply to your business and location.
  • Keep the phone number linked to your account secure, since it's how we identify your business.

Pricing and plans

TradePal is offered on a Free plan and a paid Starter plan, as described on our pricing page. We'll always let you know in advance before any change that affects what you're charged.

No financial advice

TradePal helps you record and organize your business's transactions. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and you're responsible for decisions you make based on the records it keeps.

Service availability

We aim to keep TradePal available and reliable, but as with any software service we can't guarantee uninterrupted access. We're not liable for losses arising from downtime, message delays, or errors in the underlying WhatsApp platform, which is operated by Meta and outside our control.

Ending your use of TradePal

You can stop using TradePal at any time. We may also suspend or end an account that misuses the service or violates these terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data if you leave.
